Frustration relief (and fun!): writing travel stories
What do you do when you become frustrated with a lack of incisive, public policy progress tackling a civilization altering threat to humankind like cyber and novel technology crime? You turn to something you can start and finish by yourself: writing.
After completing an outline of his book, The Age of Cyberstein, Tom took off with his wife in 2010 to see the world, visiting more than 60 countries on every continent. And he turned to travel writing, a specialized form of storytelling and copywriting that demands the opinions and views of the writer.
You can see his stories at RoverTreks™, Travel World Magazine, Food, Wine and Travel Magazine, and other major media publications. Social media posts for RoverTreks are at Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest.
Tom is a member of the North American Travel Journalists Association and the International Food, Wine and Travel Writers Association (IFWTWA). He's also a member the Board of Directors for IFWTWA as Chair of the Technology and Security Advisory Committee.
